As an event captain, you will have the opportunity to ensure smooth food service for a variety of events and supervise front and back of house activity. Compensation Range $32-$36 an hour. What you'll be doing : Leading a team of event staff and kitchen staff to direct a successful service. Facilitating transportation of equipment and service, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of catering equipment and storage areas, and room decoration. Handling customer service needs. What we're looking for : Must-haves : Excellent communication and organization skills, attention to detail, and service knowledge. At least two years of experience as a service lead or supervisor in a hotel or catering environment. Available on Saturday / Sunday a must Willing to work holidays Ability to climb stairs and stand and walk for long periods of time Needs to be able to lift 40lbs.
