We believe in the potential of every individual we serve. In our 1 : 1 ABA setting, you will work directly with children aged 18 months to 8 years, utilizing ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive center-based environment. With top-tier supervision and ongoing training, you will make a meaningful impact every day!
Key Responsibilities of a Behavior Therapist :
- Implement ABA Principles : Provide one-on-one therapy for children with Autism by following treatment plans, collecting data, and implementing supervisor feedback.
- Promote Child Development : Engage children through fun and therapeutic activities that support their growth.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with a team to ensure optimal treatment, safety, and a positive work environment.
- Active Engagement : Interact and play with children through various activities, from running and dancing to reading and playing games, ensuring a joyful atmosphere.
- Effective Communication : Communicate positively with peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities, celebrate successes, and address personal needs.
Job Requirements :
Ability to lift and move children up to 30 lbs in a fast-paced environment.Maintain a tidy and organized therapy space conducive to play and learning.Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while ensuring safety.Work collaboratively across teams within the center, including travel to nearby locations if assigned.Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment through a 40-hour training curriculum, a hands-on competency assessment, and passing the board's exam.

Associates / High School : $20.00 - $24.00Bachelors : $20.00 - $25.50Masters : $20.00 - $28.00Your first raise is earned upon obtaining your RBT certification, typically within 21 days.
Preferred Experience :
Childcare roles (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, etc.)Mental health advocacy and behavioral health experience.Previous roles as camp counselors, volunteers, or teachers.Degrees in relevant fields such as teaching, special education, psychology, or sociology.Prior experience working as paraprofessionals or direct support professionals.A passion for supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.A willingness to be part of a caring and collaborative team culture.Join us in making a positive impact in our community!
