Job Description :

USSTRATCOMis a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence,

nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national

security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications

(NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike,

and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant

Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component

that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its

allies by providing 24 / 7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet,

SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP / SAR environments.

Architecture and Engineering support : Provides systems engineering and

architecture support forAFNWC. Provides comprehensive systems and

network engineering and architectural planning services. Interfaces with

O&S personnel by providing strategic design and support to projects, as

directed. Reviews existing architectures on a regular basis,

recommending and assisting with the design and implementation of systems

and network improvements as required. Responsible for planning,

solutioning, and improvement of AFWNC capabilities with a specific focus

on cybersecurity and the implementation and design of the application

layer.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) :

Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Model-Based Systems Engineering

as well as one or more of the followingDevSecOpsskill areas :

Collaboration services and Business Applications

Collaboration service integration, CRM support

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

PKI / Certificate authority services, RMF

Enterprise Infrastructure & Systems Management

• Thin / zero clientand VDI, Disaster recovery & backup / restore,

Active Directory services & DNS, DB structure management

Network & Communications Technologies

LAN / WAN and VoIP infrastructures, application delivery

networking technology, wireless networking technology

Storage & Mobility

Mobile computing technology, data storage with expertise in

SANs, NAS, iSCSI, and DAS technologies

Virtualization & Cloud Technologies

Cloud computing technology, containerization

Requirements :

20 years of experience

Must be capable of performing analysis of system operations

Must be capable of system decomposition viaOMG frameworks (UML,

DoDAF 2.0 / UPDM, SysML, UAF)
