Job Description

As Demolition Estimator, you will be responsible for the following :

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for demolition projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure estimates align with project goals.
• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Maintain up-to-date records of costs and project progress for reporting purposes.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings to discuss project scope and budget.
• Provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs while maintaining quality.
• Stay informed about industry trends, material prices, and construction techniques.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Demolition Estimator should have :

• Proven experience in estimating within the construction or demolition sector.
• Experience with Environmental Abatement and Demolition experience (Asbestos, lead, etc) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and safety standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with estimating software and tools.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
• A results-driven mindset with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
