What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Monitor building access by verifying identification and / or credentials of individuals entering the location. Assist with visitor registration and issue appropriate visitor badges as required by site protocols. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner. Serve as a visible Allied Universal representative to help to deter unauthorized activity at the front desk area. Maintain logs and records of visitor activity and / or incidents as required by site guidelines. Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders, including facility staff and / or law enforcement if needed. Remain alert to unusual or suspicious activities and report concerns to the appropriate personnel. Support emergency response activities as directed by site policies. Minimum Requirements : Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
