About your role :

At Fiserv we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. We are seeking a proactive and technically adept IT Manager to lead and support our high-performing software engineering team. This role is critical in ensuring timely delivery of projects resolving technical blockers and aligning team priorities with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java technologies microservices architecture and modern front-end frameworks along with proven leadership and project management skills.

What youll do :

Lead the design development and implementation of software applications to support Fiservs business goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Perform coding testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.

Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

Experience youll need to have :

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering or related field.
• 8 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong expertise in :

Java Spring Boot Microservices

Experience that would be great to have :

Experience in the financial services industry
