ABOUT THE ROLE :

The firm’s Real Estate Practice Group is seeking a mid to senior-level associate (4-6 years of experience) to join their Downtown Los Angeles office. This attorney should have experience in equity transactions and a broad spectrum of real estate transactions. This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate looking to represent clients in complex real estate transactions throughout the United States.

REQUIREMENTS :

• 4-6 years of experience in equity transactions
• Experience with real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, and joint ventures
• Experience with financing transactions for a broad base of clients, including developers, investment companies / advisors, pension funds, and REITs
• Experience with financing, including negotiation and preparation of loan documents, and development of commercial real estate
• Major law firm experience is preferred
• Excellent legal writing skills and academic credentials
• Active California Bar admission
• Detail-oriented and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
