Construction Operator

Atmos Energy has an opening for a Construction Operator in its Metairie location. Residency requirement in place. This is an entry level position responsible for basic construction and maintenance activities of a natural gas utility system. May operate heavy and / or specialized equipment and tools. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent valid driver's license the ability to work in an outdoor environment and lifting up to 88 lbs. Natural Gas Utility Construction experience a plus. CDL Class A a plus. Walk in applications and mailed or faxed resumes are not accepted. Primary Duties :

• Performs basic, routine work using clearly prescribed procedures. Seeks advice and guidance for any deviations from the norm.
• Assists in the installation and maintenance of natural gas lines, meters and regulators.
• May assist in conducting leakage surveys.
• Completes and maintains accurate records and reports to comply with Company and regulatory requirements.
