Mechanical Designer

ITS has a client in the Toledo, OH area seeking a Mechanical Designer for their Tooling Department. This is a direct hire role with full benefits including 401k.

Responsibilities

Design and develop tooling concepts and components for fabrication and assembly.

Collaborate with the Tooling shop personnel and suppliers to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.

Apply knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques during design development.

Contribute creative ideas and innovative approaches to tooling design.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years mechanical design experience

Proficient in AutoCAD Inventor 3D

Knowledgeable in constructing and welding techniques

Knowledge of working with stainless steel is a plus

Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision

Penchant for designing and bringing new ideas to life

Willing to work closely with Tooling shop personnel and suppliers
