Senior Java Developer

$80 – $85 per hour

Position Overview
Reliance One is seeking a Senior Java Developer with 10–15 years of experience to join our client’s team in Plano, TX. The Senior Java Developer will design, implement, and support scalable Java-based applications while collaborating in an Agile / Scrum environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Java Developer
Design and implement technical architecture for Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.Build and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring security, scalability, and high performance.Implement scalable and fault-tolerant Spring Batch jobs for data processing.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile / Scrum environment.Contribute to system design and architectural discussions.Deploy and monitor cloud-native applications in AWS.Work with CI / CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, etc.).Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.Provide production support, including monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.Write clean, efficient, and modular code following industry best practices.Qualifications for the Senior Java Developer
10–15 years of professional experience in Java development.Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and microservices architecture.Hands-on experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.Proficiency with AWS deployment and monitoring tools.Solid understanding of CI / CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker).Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in production environments.Experience mentoring and coaching junior developers.Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Statement
