The Director of Social Services oversees social service programs, ensuring effective delivery, compliance with regulations, and management of staff to meet community needs.

Salary Range : $62,400 - $104,000

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of social services programs to ensure they meet community needs and comply with relevant regulations.

Establish and implement policies and procedures that align with the organization’s mission and regulatory standards.

Regularly assess the effectiveness of programs and make necessary adjustments based on feedback from clients and staff.

Ensure that all services provided comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in social work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field is typically required; a master’s degree is often preferred.

3+ years of experience in social services management, including direct experience working in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care.

Licensed Social Worker (LSW).

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
