HR COORDINATOR - Full Time

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Human Reources Coordinator. In this exciting role, you will :

• Assist with the new employee hiring process by collecting all new hire completed paperwork and I9 documentation.
• Inform applicants about position details, including working conditions, benefits and duties. Assist with th e hiring process for new employees.
• Respond to all employment reference and verification inquiries.
• Assist with the coordination of Hospital Orientation.
• Perform all clerical functions including typing, mailings, distribution of memos and other correspondence, maintenance of personnel records, departmental records / reports and department inventory and supplies.
• Complete reports and audits as assigned
• Participate in hospital survey process, performance evaluations, open enrollments and other special projects.

Qualifications

JOB SPECIFICATIONS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required.

Education : Bacholar degree required.

Experience : 2+ years experience in HR related field preferred.

Knowledge : Must be detail-oriented and work well independently. Strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.. Typing ability of 45+ wpm, knowledge of Word required, Excel, Access and Human Resource Information Systems / Database and ATS System preferred.

Supervision Received : Director of Human Resource s / Human Resources Manager

Supervision Exercised : None

Line of Promotion : Human Resources Generalist

Working Conditions : Works in Human Resources office and travels to other areas of the Hospital. Possible exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent / aggressive behavior. Potential for exposure to communicable diseases, blood / body fluids and other hazardous waste. General hospital environment.

Physical Requirements : Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Push, pull and lift up to 35 pounds. Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending and stooping. Repetitive typing / keying.
