Job Duties :

Develop and Implement Quality Control Processes : Create and execute quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Conduct Audits and Inspections : Perform regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and guarantee adherence to quality standards.

Analyze Manufacturing Processes : Analyze current manufacturing and production processes, identifying opportunities for improvement through lean manufacturing principles.

Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions : Take proactive measures by implementing corrective and preventive actions to address identified issues.

Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams : Work closely with engineering, production, and other relevant departments to foster a collaborative approach to quality management and improvement.

Participate in Cross-functional Teams : Join cross-functional teams to address specific quality-related challenges, providing expertise in quality engineering.

Education and Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in quality control, quality engineering, or a related field.

CMM Training and in-line vision system experience.

Physical Requirements :

This role involves regular sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. Occasional lifting and / or moving of items over 50 pounds may be required. Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Travel :

As needed for vendor visits, machine Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), etc.
