Job Description :

Young and White Law Office is seeking an associate attorney to join our firm in a full-time, salaried, permanent, in-office position.

Who We Are :

We are a general civil practice law firm which provides a full-range of professional legal services to a wide spectrum of clients. For more than fifty years, the firm has represented clients in matters across the State of Nebraska and the country, while maintaining a philosophy of service reflective of its Midwestern values.

Qualifications :

Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.

Active membership in good standing with the Nebraska State Bar Association.

Two plus years in the general practice of civil law is preferred.

Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.

Experience in legal drafting and preparing legal documents.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as a legal team member.

Ability to organize and prioritize workload.

High level of ethical standards, professionalism, and integrity.

Responsibilities :

Conduct legal research and analysis and provide legal support on a wide variety of general civil legal matters.

Collaborate and communicate effectively with firm lawyers and staff.

Draft and review pleadings, briefs, opinions, discovery, contracts, correspondence, and other legal documents.

Attend and represents the firm and its clients in meetings and court proceedings.

The salary offer will be commensurate with experience. Support staff is provided.
