Position Overview

The client is seeking both contractors and full-time IT professionals to take on an IT Manager role. This position involves a mix of hands-on IT support and technical leadership responsibilities. The role is hybrid requiring a presence on-site in Fremont at least three days per week. Proximity to the office is critical as the business needs someone on-site for troubleshooting when required in addition to handling remote IT support. The role will support both their team of 20 full-time employees and various 1099 contractors / consultants.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide day-to-day IT support for employees and contractors both on-site and remotely.

Play a leadership role in managing the IT infrastructure and ensuring its scalability to support company operations and growth.

Build and optimize IT infrastructure to meet company needs and align with customer expectations.

Key Requirements :

Strong expertise in AWS Cloud including managing infrastructure and datasets. AWS is a major component of this role.

Experience in compliance-heavy environments such as defense healthcare or financial services is highly preferred.

On-site presence is critical for troubleshooting hands-on IT infrastructure support and leadership responsibilities.
