Summary :
Assist Dimensional Inspectors with routine departmental tasks under supervision by Dimensional Inspector I or higher.
Major Job Duties :

Load product on the inspection tables or apparatus safelyBe aware of surroundings and contribute to improving safety within the departmentBe aware of the activities of others to ensure every employee works safelyBe flexible to work according to production needs in inspection cells : Die Forge & Hand ForgeVerify piece countVerify production partsSet up material and prepare product for inspectionLoad product on work tables manually or with a hoistUnderstand and follow identification and traceability informationOperate Identification equipment and tools including : rubber stamps, deep etch, Vibro engrave units, Bren Stencil specifically for Hand Forge CellBe able to change abrasive wheels / cutters with the use of a wrench on the air grinderLearn to use packing equipmentPack product for shipping or source inspectionAdditional responsibilities include :
Follow 5S, Lean, & TOC concepts and activitiesMaintain Housekeeping StandardsDemonstrate flexibility within a fast pace, challenging environmentAble to work in different shiftsOther duties as assignedQualifications :
