Description

St. Edward Preparatory Catholic Academy, a Catholic elementary school serving grades PK-8, is seeking qualified and faith-filled Substitute Teachers to support student learning during teacher absences. The ideal candidate will uphold the mission and values of Catholic education, foster a nurturing classroom environment, and deliver instruction aligned with the school's academic and spiritual goals.

KEY Responsibilities :

• Provide instruction based on lesson plans prepared by the regular teacher.
• Maintain classroom order and promote a positive, respectful, and faith-centered environment.
• Incorporate Catholic values into interactions and classroom management.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
• Supervise students in various settings, including the classroom, lunchroom, and outdoor recess areas.
• Communicate effectively with school staff and leave a summary of the day for the returning teacher.
