About The Position

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate  Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)  to join our team in North Reading, MA. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality rehabilitative care, help patients improve mobility, relieve pain, and regain function after injury, illness, or surgery.

Responsibilities :

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans.
• Instruct and guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and functional activities.
• Monitor and document patients’ progress and responses to treatment.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality care.
• Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures.
