Develop strong working relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders (Strategic Finance, Legal, Commercial, Operations). Assess current systems and processes and propose improvements for scalability and accuracy. Take ownership of the revenue reporting process and implement improvements on revenue reporting. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field CPA with strong technical knowledge of ASC 606 10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and industry, with at least 3+ years focused on revenue accounting Experience in a fast-paced, public company environment 3+ years in a leadership role managing teams and developing talent Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable processes and controls Excellent communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally Comfortable working in a fully remote setting You put people first and take care of yourself, your peers, and our patients equally You have a strong sense of ownership and take initiative while empowering others to do the same You prioritize positive impact over busy work You have no ego and understand that everyone has something to bring to the table regardless of experience You appreciate transparency and promote trust and empowerment through open access of information You are evidence-based and prioritize data and science over seniority or dogma You take risks and rapidly iterate
Director, Revenue Accounting

As the Director, Revenue Accounting, you'll own one of the most critical areas of financial reporting for a rapidly growing healthcare company. You'll work closely with senior leadership, build scalable revenue processes, and lead a team that ensures accurate reporting under ASC 606. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on strategic decisions, operational execution, and external reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of revenue accounting, including month-end close, analysis and reporting, controls considerations and technical accounting under ASC 606.
- Oversee contract review for revenue recognition implications.
- Lead and mentor a team of two revenue accountants, providing coaching and professional development.
- Partner with Strategic Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Operations to support accurate forecasting, reporting, and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and controls to support scale and operational excellence.
- Support external audits and reviews
- Assist the Accounting team as needed with ad hoc tasks and projects
