Senior Event Planner

Location : Hybrid in Beaverton, OR

Duration : ~8 months

Pay : $36 / hour, DOE

The Planet Group is looking for a Senior Event Planner to join our well-known retail brand on an 8-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will be hybrid in Beaverton, OR.

Senior Event Planner Responsibilities :

• Build solid relationship with key counterparts within the business
• Navigate complex matrix to identify key stakeholders
• Coordinate with multiple partners to find feasible schedules for executive meetings
• Creatively solve complex logistical challenges
• Proactively foresee potential obstacles and create mitigation plans to ensure successful meeting outcomes
• Navigate complex and competing executive schedules with key admin partners on a regular basis
• Plan meetings including sending invitations, reserving rooms, and coordinating logistics (e.g. AV)
• Manage vendors including creation of Purchase Orders
• Assist management of attendees, agendas and project as needed
• Plan catering and coordinate optimal schedules with key stakeholders
• Organize social events
