As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, providing a welcoming presence while assisting with access control and security-related procedures. Your role is key in helping to deter incidents through visibility, maintaining detailed logs, and delivering outstanding customer service. By upholding our core values of agility, reliability, and teamwork, you will contribute to a secure and professional atmosphere where people always come first.

  • What You'll Do :
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and visitor credentials as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain detailed records of all security-related activities, incidents, and visitor interactions at the front desk.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and building personnel.
  • Support Allied Universal management in upholding site standards and expectations for security-related services.
  • Minimum Requirements :
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
