University Facility Services is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Building Automation Lead Technician. The Building Automation Lead Technician provides advanced technical expertise, leadership, and oversight in the installation, operation, and maintenance of building automation systems (BAS) across the University of Arizona campus. This position ensures the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of building systems by coordinating technical work, mentoring technicians, and collaborating with engineers, project managers, and campus stakeholders. The Lead Technician serves as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting complex system issues and supports continuous improvement of BAS standards, protocols, and energy optimization initiatives. This position is essential to maintaining mission-critical campus infrastructure and may require participation in an on-call rotation and response to after-hours emergencies.
