Job Overview :

As a Porter, you will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of our assisted living community. You will support the overall operations of the facility by performing various tasks, including cleaning, maintenance support, and assisting with the transportation of residents and supplies. This position is perfect for individuals who take pride in ensuring a positive and sanitary environment for our residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities :

• Clean and maintain all common areas, including hallways, lounges, restrooms, and dining areas.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness in resident rooms, including regular inspections of equipment and furniture.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed for events, activities, or routine facility maintenance.
• Assist with laundry services, including transporting linens and towels to and from the laundry room.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed, ensuring a quick and effective response.
• Assist with waste disposal and recycling according to facility guidelines.
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment.
