POSITION SUMMARY :
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide behavior analytic services to pediatric clients with a range of medical and neurodevelopmental diagnoses. This role emphasizes clinical excellence, family-centered care, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support optimal developmental outcomes.

oIntegrate developmental, medical, and behavioral considerations into treatment planning.
oApply trauma-informed and culturally responsive care principles.
oMaintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging research in pediatric behavior analysis.
oConduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill-based assessments tailored to pediatric populations.
oDevelop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment data and evidence-based practices.
oCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams including but not limited to physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and physical therapist.
oCreate and update behavioral master treatment plan goals aligned with individualized assessments, interdisciplinary input, and measurable behavioral outcomes.
oProvide support and collaborate with families and guardians to facilitate effective transitions and continuity of care across discharge settings.
oSupervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff.
oFoster a compassionate, family-centered approach to care that respects the values and preferences of each family.
oEducate and empower caregivers through training and ongoing support.
oAdvocate for the needs of children with complex medical and developmental profiles within educational and healthcare systems.
oPromote inclusion and participation in age-appropriate activities and community settings.
oDevelop and implement family training plans to support generalization of behavioral strategies and ensure continuity of care during discharge planning.
oEnsures all activities adhere to healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
oParticipates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
oPromotes a culture of patient safety which results in the identification and reduction of unsafe practices.
oEnsure compliance with BACB Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts and HIPAA regulations.
oMaintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation of services.
oParticipate in internal audits, peer reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
oAdhere to organizational policies and payer requirements for service delivery and documentation.
oMonitor and analyze behavioral program metrics to guide data-driven decision-making and ensure ongoing program effectiveness.
oCompletes annual education requirements.
oMaintains competency, as evidenced by completion of competency validation requirements.
oMaintains competency and knowledge of current standards of practice, trends, and developments.
