Summary
The Primary role for a Field Service Fleet Technician will be to support the Fleet Team in the maintenance, installations and inspection of all Fleet owned, rented and leased assets. This role will be Field Service only and will require a candidate to be on site at both company and customer facilities.
Weisiger’s Fleet currently consist of a variety of late model vehicles ranging from SUVs to Class 8 Heavy Haul trucks and trailers. This current role will consist of maintaining but not limited to, repairing vehicles >
10,000lbs GVW. The candidate will be responsible for all maintenance procedures, brake repairs, telematics installations, general repairs such as A / C diagnosing and repairing, CEL, emissions, drivability complaints, DOT inspections, de-branding and any other maintenance / repairs needed to keep our Fleet up and running.
It will be the responsibility of the candidate to maintain a clean appearance both in person and equipment, follow all company safety policies, have a positive attitude, and keep up to date on current fleet trends. The individual will need to have basic customer skills, time management, and ability to write and input work orders into appropriate systems.
