Responsibilities

Position Summary

Position responsible for maintaining and coordinating the service schedule for non-surgical areas. Monitors and schedules all outpatient cases. Records all pertinent information into the scheduling book for pre-procedure phone calls and references. Maintains good rapport and working relations with internal and external customers. This position may verify insurance eligibility.

Special Skills : Must have knowledge of basic mathematics. Requires considerable logic and understanding to analyze problem and determine course of action. Proficient at interpersonal relationships. Reads, writes and orally communicates at a level to correctly explain information. Must have the ability to operate a telephone, computer, copy machine, and fax machine as required. Requires attention to detail. Works regularly with confidential information. Must be familiar with medical terminology. Bi-lingual preferred.
