Job Description What is the opportunity? The Clearing & Custody Fixed Income Trader is a professional who seeks the best execution trading bonds for Financial Advisors (FA's) in an environment built on teamwork, service, responsibility, and integrity. This Trader would join a proactive team of risk traders who through execution and idea generation, drive productivity and deliver excellence to Clearing & Custody Financial Advisors.
What will you do?
What do you need to succeed? Must-have Bachelor's Degree, or the ability to demonstrate experience or academic achievement in related fields such as Economics, Finance, or Mathematics, or equivalent work experience. Demonstrated knowledge of fixed income markets, economics, marketing strategies, and other fixed income instruments or willingness to learn. Proficient with Bloomberg, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to work and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment and perform tasks from multiple sources. Ability to quickly assess situations, react to market / economic conditions and offer creative solutions and opportunities while working under pressure. Nice-to-have Series 7, 66, & 52 licenses, or ability acquire within 90 days 3+ years in the Fixed Income environment and exposure to trading activity. Prior experience with principal trading and RBC specific trading systems & processes. Proficiency with the Tradeweb platform.

This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
