Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Route Planner.

Schedule

Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities

As a Route Planner, you will :

• Work efficiently and effectively to plan daily truckload shipments from the Ferguson distribution centers to branches and customers
• Continuously offering opportunities for process and cost improvement
• Work within various software applications to consolidate truckload shipments from the distribution center to branches and customers
• Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs through freight consolidation, back-haul or DSD schedule changes
• Communicate transportation delays that result from system challenges, weather obstacles, etc to customers and the DC's
• Support the Supply Chain Disaster Plan as documented in the event of a weather emergency that disrupts the transportation of goods
• Review and evaluate operational procedures and update as appropriate in collaboration with management

Pay Range : $15.00 - $25.39

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
