Consolidations Accounting Manager
Location : St. Petersburg, FL (Hybrid : 2 days on-site required)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consolidations Accounting Manager to lead our complex multi-entity financial reporting process and ensure the integrity of our consolidated financial statements.
Key Responsibilities
The Consolidations Accounting Manager will be responsible for the accuracy and timely delivery of consolidated financial statements for the firm's legal entity structure. Key duties include :
- Financial Consolidation : Manage the full cycle of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and consolidation process for multiple subsidiaries, ensuring all intercompany balances, transactions, and investments are appropriately eliminated.
- Technical Accounting & Compliance : Ensure all consolidated financial statements are prepared in strict accordance with GAAP and internal policies. Research and document technical accounting positions on complex transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and new business ventures.
- Reporting & Analysis : Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements, including the Statement of Cash Flows, for senior management, board of directors, and external stakeholders. Provide insightful analysis on financial results and variances.
- System Ownership : Oversee and maintain the financial consolidation system OneStream, Hyperion, etc.) to drive process efficiencies, improve automation, and ensure data integrity.
- Internal Controls & Audit : Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit. Ensure robust internal controls (SOX-like environment) are documented and maintained over the consolidation process.
- Leadership : Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Corporate Accounting, FP&A, and subsidiary finance teams, to ensure a smooth and efficient close.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience : Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Professional Certification : CPA certification is required. A FINRA license / certification (Series 27 / 28) may be considered in lieu of a CPA, depending on specific experience in financial services consolidation.Public Accounting Experience : 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role focused on consolidations and financial reporting. Must include significant experience at a Big 4 or large public accounting firm.Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of accounting principles within the financial services / wealth advisory industry.Technical Expertise : Expert-level knowledge of GAAP and solid proficiency with major financial consolidation software Oracle HFM, OneStream, SAP BPC, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.Preferred Skills and Traits
Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.Experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Compensation & Work Environment
Salary Range : The estimated salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience, generally falling in the range of $115,000 to $145,000 annually, plus a performance-based bonus.Work Arrangement : This is a hybrid position based in St. Petersburg, FL. The employee is required to work on-site a minimum of two days per week.
