Job Title : Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic and play a vital role in maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components of packaging equipment on the production floor. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 6 months to 2 years of mechanical experience or knowledge, or those who have completed a trade or technical school certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all mechanical and some electrical components of the packaging equipment on the production floor.
• Ensure that all packaging equipment is mechanically and electrically safe to operate and in good running condition at all times.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues with all packaging equipment.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment specializing in the production of wet wipes. The open roles are for the second and / or third shift (3PM - 11PM) and (11 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM, Sunday - Thursday) with two openings available. The position requires wearing steel toe boots and no visible jewelry. PPE, including lab coats, will be provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00 / hr.
