Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive mental health care including assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy for individuals, families, and groups. Utilize evidence-based practices and ensure care aligns with ethical, cultural, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with families and professionals to support patient treatment goals and ensure patient safety.

Clinical Care

Conduct psychosocial and diagnostic assessments; diagnose per DSM standards.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy, including crisis intervention.

Utilize evidence-based practices and make referrals as needed.

Engage collateral sources (family, friends, agencies) to support treatment.

Deliver culturally and linguistically appropriate care.

May perform Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or court-related evaluations.

Collaboration and Coordination

Participate in team meetings, training, and case consultations.

Communicate promptly with patients and colleagues.

May provide supervision for provisionally licensed clinicians or students.

Documentation and Compliance

Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with treatment goals.

Meet productivity standards and maintain current licensure.

Adhere to all ethical, billing, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Education :

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy with a clinical / mental health focus.

Experience :

Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience.

One year of experience with the site’s specific population preferred.

Licensure :

Iowa : LISW, LMFT, LMHC

Illinois : LCPC, LCSW, LMFT

Wisconsin : LCSW, LMFT, LPC

BLS certification may be required within 6 months of hire (site dependent).

Skills and Abilities :

Proficient in evidence-based interventions and clinical documentation.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of HIPAA, TJC, DNV, OSHA, and healthcare compliance standards.
