AutoCad Drafter

Position Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Drafter Auto CAD to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and revising complex electrical drawings and schematics using CAD software working closely with engineers project managers and other design professionals to support the development of electrical systems for commercial industrial or residential projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings schematics wiring diagrams panel layouts and cable schedules based on engineering specifications.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and project teams to interpret design concepts and convert them into accurate drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes standards (e.g. NEC IEC) and client specifications.
• Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes or field revisions.
• Maintain drawing records and documentation according to company and project requirements.
• Coordinate with other drafters and disciplines (mechanical civil structural) to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Support project submittals as-built drawings and documentation packages.
• Participate in quality control reviews of electrical drawings and support audits when necessary.
• Assist in standardizing drafting procedures and improving drafting workflows and templates.
