Accounting Clerk

Responsibilities :

  • Accounting Clerk role will 90% AP

    • Accounting Clerk will be responsible for full cycle ap including coding, preparing, and cutting checks

  • Accounting Clerk will handle a volume of 20-50 invoices per day
  • Accounting Clerk will process AP for the organization
  • Accounting Clerk role will be 10% AR

    • Accounting Clerk will enter deposits and prepare deposit slips

  • Accounting Clerk will process deposits 1-2x / week during the current busy season
  • Accounting Clerk will complete ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested

    • Requirements :

  • 1-2+ years of previous accounting experience
  • Sage Intacct experience is a plus but NOT required
  • Degree is a plus but NOT required if candidate has 1-2+ years of professional accounting experience
  • Basic Excel skills - able to create a spreadsheet and enter information into existing Excel tables. Should be comfortable doing data entry in Excel.
  • Previous nonprofit experience is a plus but NOT required
