About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and business-savvy Executive Assistant to provide direct support to Donald Thompson , a multi-exit CEO, Board Chair, author, investor, and thought leader with a broad portfolio of companies and initiatives. Employed by WalkWest , a leading digital strategy firm where Donald serves as Executive Chairman, the Executive Assistant will coordinate and support activities spanning podcasting, publishing, public speaking, executive coaching, advisory boards, and strategic partnerships.
This is a dynamic, high-visibility role that requires exceptional organization, judgment, and adaptability. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, anticipates needs before they arise, and can operate with discretion while representing a nationally recognized business leader.

Key Responsibilities
- Calendar & Priority Management : Coordinate and prioritize a demanding schedule, including board meetings, client engagements, travel, media appearances, podcasts, and writing deadlines.
- Communications & Gatekeeping : Act as the primary point of contact, draft and edit correspondence, manage follow-ups, and ensure communications are timely and professional.
- Project & Business Support : Track deliverables across diverse initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Event & Media Coordination : Manage logistics for speaking engagements, interviews, podcasts, and book events; liaise with publishers, producers, and PR teams.
- Travel & Logistics : Arrange complex itineraries, accommodations, meeting briefs, and speaking prep to support high-performance execution.
- Information Management : Maintain bios, headshots, speaking assets, board materials, and key documents across platforms; ensure information is organized and accessible.
Qualifications
Experience : Minimum of 10 years supporting senior executives, entrepreneurs, or public figures with complex and fast-paced professional responsibilities.Business Acumen : Strong understanding of board dynamics, investor relations, media relations, and executive-level operations.Communication Skills : Excellent writing and editing ability, with the capacity to represent Donald’s voice in communications.Technical Skills : Adept with AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Reclaim, Gamma), Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack, and project / task management software. Familiarity with CRM platforms and podcast scheduling a plus.Judgment & Discretion : Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute professionalism and confidentiality.Compensation & Benefits
