Must adhere to PPE and safety protocols in food production settings.
Overview :
Our client, a privately held food manufacturer known for producing a variety of snack and convenience foods is seeking a Controls and Automation Engineer. The individual will design and execute automation projects at manufacturing facilities. This role involves leading plant automation control projects, supporting IT / OT integration, and providing technical support for new and legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead automation control and data acquisition projects from concept to implementation.
- Manage and support plant control networks and ensure compliance with IT / OT strategies.
- Develop and implement controls standards for manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial robots.
- Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to optimize equipment for remote diagnostics and cybersecurity.
