What You'll Do

Purpose : Responsible for generating and expanding profitable sales in project business in a professional manner by planning, organizing, and executing projects on time while managing profitability and customer satisfaction.

Work with Quotation Specialist (Lighting and Gear) and Sales to understand requirements of the project to ensure the work proceeds on spec and facilitate smooth transition to customer.

Manage orders from purchase order to final billing including drawings, expediting change orders, and billing resolution.

Create and maintain assigned project orders in Eclipse.

Create submittals and O&M's. Manage project purchase order process with vendors. Expedite all assigned project orders.

Constantly monitor and report on progress of project to all stakeholders via project status reports and updates. Identify, analyze, and solve critical problems.

Manage project budgets while ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and billing.

Serve as information center for technical information and consult with sales team on proper application of products if applicable.

Process all project change orders and customer returns on assigned projects. Maintain accurate and up-to-date job folders for all assigned projects. Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day. Perform all functions necessary to meet and exceed customer service standards.

What You Bring

24 years of project management experience, preferably in construction, with electrical projects being a strong plus.

PMP and / or CAPM certification preferred.

Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Specific Qualifications : A college degree and / or equivalent industry experience. Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat; experience with Parspec and ERP systems is a plus.
