Responsibilities :

• Assist veterans in locating suitable housing options and facilitate their move-in processes.
• Establish and nurture relationships with landlords and maintain a comprehensive database of available properties.
• Match clients with housing opportunities based on eligibility criteria and individual needs.
• Negotiate rental agreements, conduct housing inspections, and review lease terms to ensure compliance.
• Provide guidance to clients on housing retention strategies, including eviction prevention measures.
• Deliver tenant education programs and collaborate with case managers to address client-specific challenges.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date records, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
• Support clients in navigating housing-related services and resources effectively.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in social services is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in housing support, real estate, or social services is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle crisis situations and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Yardi software is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to work independently while engaging effectively with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of property management and leasing processes is highly valued.
• Previous experience in residential or commercial property management is a plus.
