About The Role

As the Director Of Experience, you will plan, develop, and oversee a dynamic range of programs designed to meet the social, cognitive, and physical needs of our residents. You'll manage and lead a team of support staff, volunteers, and drivers. From arranging outings and holiday celebrations to crafting monthly newsletters and coordinating educational seminars, you will be at the heart of community life.

Candidates with previous experience in senior living and a strong background in leading activities or life enrichment programs are highly encouraged to apply. This role requires both creativity and empathy to ensure residents experience an engaging, connected, and fulfilling lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Creating strategies and programs that drive the customer experience.
• Facilitating events for Resident Appreciate Month (September), and throughout the year, as reflected in strategy and plans.
• Engaging and building relationships with residents by attending Monthly New Resident Events, leading and planning Monthly Resident Meetings, and personally handling all Annual Lease Renewals.
• Initiating and leading monthly Resident Services programming planning meetings.
• Working with the VP to create an ongoing TRAINING System and Program for Directors, Supervisors, and Front-Line Employees, that drives our Resident Experience.
• Coordinating with the VP and Director of Sales, for any Digital or traditional marketing required, to advance the department and drive resident experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and work experience.

Minimum of five years of experience in senior living, life enrichment, or a similar health-related or hospitality field.

Prior experience leading an activities or engagement department within a senior living community strongly preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Minimum age of twenty-one (21).

Demonstrated ability to seek out and implement new methods and practices that enhance resident life.
