Job Description

This position provides engineering support to the design, development, and testing of a power system for a rocket that is the cornerstone of an exciting space program in the new era of human exploration beyond Earth's orbit. This position supports the development and integration of batteries and power distribution components, and responsibilities can include updating battery models, supporting power system testing, conducting power analyses, analyzing data, reviewing Interface Control Documents (ICDs), verifying requirements, coordinating with other rocket system teams and the NASA customer, writing reports, and resolving issues. The candidate will work with other Power engineers to develop the system and ensure the design meets requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field
• Minimum one year of experience with power systems, including batteries and / or power distribution
• Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance
• Must be a U.S. citizen
