Work Study Student Worker

Overview

Under direct supervision, primarily provides general administrative support for a project, team, or work unit. Similar to an Office Clerk or Specialist. May also include some basic data entry and report generation.

Function / Duties of Position

Social Media Management

• Create multimedia content such as graphics, photos, and short videos for social media platforms.
• Assist in writing copy for posts, advertisements, and social media stories that are aligned with the institution’s recruitment goals.
• Capture and share student experiences, campus life, and event highlights to attract prospective students.
• Assist in managing the institution’s social media platforms (., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
• Create and schedule engaging content (posts, stories, videos, that reflects the institution’s brand and mission.
• Monitor social media activity, respond to comments and messages, and engage with prospective students and followers.
• Help develop a content calendar and contribute to brainstorming sessions for upcoming posts or campaigns.
• Track and report on social media performance (likes, shares, comments, and suggest improvements.
