We seek a detail-oriented Data Scientist to help optimize manufacturing processes, improve quality, and reduce costs through data-driven decision-making. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and leveraging analytics tools to turn factory floor data into actionable insights. You will play a critical role in identifying trends, improving operational performance, and enabling data-driven process improvements across production and assembly lines.

Job Responsibilities (3+ years of Data Analytics Experience)

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from manufacturing systems, including production metrics, downtime, scrap rates, and quality control data.
• Conduct  exploratory data analysis (EDA) and root cause analysis  to uncover the drivers behind defects, downtime, and other manufacturing challenges.
• Identify process inefficiencies and bottlenecks, providing data-driven recommendations for performance improvement.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to implement changes that improve efficiency and quality.
• Use  predictive modeling to forecast  production needs, predict potential equipment failures, and optimize maintenance schedules.
• Develop and implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms , and AI-driver solutions.
• Work with  Databricks, Python, R , and SQL to develop analytical models and automate reporting.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs using Power BI or Tableau to monitor operational performance and provide clear insights to leadership.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including process flows, SOPs, and analytics reports.
