Position Overview
The Billing Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation, processing, and distribution of invoices and related financial documents. This position plays a key role in supporting the company's billing operations, maintaining financial accuracy, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, post, and print invoices daily.
- Process and manage electronic invoices (E-invoices).
- Print, sign, and notarize affidavits daily.
- Process manual billing, prepare, sort, and distribute invoices via mail or email.
- Respond to customer inquiries, assist with billing issues, and process credit card payments.
- Maintain and update customer account information and profiles.
- Manage the mailroom, including incoming and outgoing mail and all related machinery.
- Order and maintain inventory of paper products and office supplies (copy paper, invoice paper, envelopes, etc.).
- Print, collate, and mail multi-page statements using the postage machine.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education :
High school diploma or GED required.Post-secondary education in accounting, business, or a related field preferred.Experience :
Minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience.At least one (1) year of billing experience preferred.Skills and Requirements :
Proficiency in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing applications.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.Proactive in identifying and recommending improvements to billing procedures.Equal Opportunity Employer Statement :
