Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Test Automation Architect to lead and drive automation initiatives for a healthcare-focused enterprise. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in automation frameworks, embedded systems, cloud environments, and cross-functional team management. Candidates must be available to work onsite in Pleasanton, CA from Day 1.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years in API & UI automation using Selenium, Java, Rest Assured, JMeter
  • 5+ years with TestNG or Playwright frameworks
  • 5+ years as an Automation Architect with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience in device integration and embedded system testing
  • Strong hands-on programming skills (Java – 10+ years)
  • Experience leading onsite and offshore teams across manual and automation efforts
  • 3+ years in functional testing, SIT, and formal verification (preferably SaMD products)
  • Familiarity with Test agents , CI / CD pipelines, and troubleshooting build failures
  • 3+ years working with iOS and Visual Studio (VS)
  • Solid understanding of Git (including submodules)
  • Cloud experience with Azure or AWS
  • Proficient in JIRA for test management and tracking
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare or medical device domains
  • Exposure to CI / CD tools and frameworks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
