For this Director position on the Actuarial team, your day-to-day activities will focus on the quarterly production of the asset models in AXIS. Additionally, you may oversee Senior Actuarial Associates, Actuarial Associates and possibly Actuarial Interns on technical model aspects
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Oversee the quarterly build out of asset models in AXIS for all of Kuvare's US and Bermuda entitiesResearch and implement asset cash flow methodology for complex assetsCoordinate with Kuvare's US and Bermuda actuarial teams to implement the asset model into their ALM datasetsExecute and monitor asset model projections including troubleshooting model calculationsAnalyze model output ensuring accuracy with intended model purposeBuild and maintain tools to assist in result analysisMonitor the completeness and consistency of investment data; work with Investment team to ensure the quality of data feedsDevelop management presentations on topics as neededUpon request, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Qualifications
BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or related areaFSA designation or near FSA designation; career ASAs will also be consideredA minimum of 5 years of relevant full-time insurance actuarial experience is expected3+ yrs AXIS modeling experience, preferably with AXIS asset modeling experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong business and collaboration skillsProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, PPT)Demonstrated ability with Actuarial software is preferred (e.g., AXIS, MG-ALFA)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsFlexible can-do attitude, willing to help out with all types of tasks in an ever-changing environmentPassion to learn new things and design new solutionsWork both independently and as part of a team#LI-ZB1
