SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Plans & Scheduling Supervisor, the Plans & Scheduling Specialist is responsible for the effective planning, scheduling, and coordinating company products and services to meet customer requirements and support the sales team in quoting new products and services.

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Help Develop and implement planning strategies to achieve business objectives and maintain sustainable customer relationships.
• Analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to fully understand project / program needs.
• Determine factors influencing cost and schedule, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate products and services, ensuring timely and cost- effective delivery.
• Monitor costs and processes to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Communicate frequently with internal departments to ensure seamless product and service delivery.
• Prepare detailed status and performance reports on project activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast future requirements and anticipate demands.
• Support the sales team for proposal generation.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of proposals to customers, meeting both company and customer requirements.
• Monitor market conditions, technology roadmaps, and supply / demand challenges to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare internal cost estimates for sales opportunities.
• Assist the Plans & Scheduling Supervisor, in coordinating activities effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The office building where this position works is a typical office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues in the immediate vicinity of the workstation.

The employee in this position will experience occasional outdoor exposure to heat, cold, and environmental elements when called upon to locate personnel working inside or outside of a production center.
