Note : This position is based at our corporate office in Phoenix, AZ, and follows a hybrid work schedule. Remote work is not available for this role. Candidates must reside within commuting distance, as relocation assistance is not provided. Additionally, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa support.

Job Overview :

The HR Operations Coordinator provides essential support for the day-to-day delivery of Human Resources processes and services. This entry-level role focuses on maintaining employee records, supporting HR systems, and ensuring smooth HR operations while gaining exposure to the full employee lifecycle. Throughout this flow, compliance is maintained with state, federal, and corporate regulations and requirements.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain employee records and update HRIS systems with accuracy.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding policies and HR processes.
  • Direct employees to appropriate HR resources or subject matter experts when needed.
  • Help maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Assist with HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support the HR team in identifying opportunities to streamline tasks.
  • Maintain communication with hiring managers to expedite the hiring process.
  • Consistently prioritize and process incoming items in the HR Team inbox and background check results with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Process status changes, separations, and employment verifications in a timely manner, and in conformance with applicable government regulations.
  • Provide receptionist desk coverage as needed to support daily operations.
  • Assist in developing and preparing training materials for hiring managers to support effective preboarding.
  • During periods of high volume, it may be required to perform duties outside of standard business hours.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure accuracy and compliance across all HR processes.
  • Always strive for superior customer service.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with HRIS systems a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Organization and planning – Ability to deliver superior customer service through effective execution and follow up
  • Communication – Effectively communicate within the department and to the field
  • Teamwork – Collaborates well with department and Company
  • Proactivity – Brings innovative new ideas for lowering costs and providing process improvements
