RVE is actively seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join our growing civil team in Asheville, North Carolina. This individual will be working on unique and rewarding projects in and around the Asheville region.

Our projects include civil site designs for new and renovated parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, sports courts, schools / colleges / universities, buildings, sidewalks, streets and other various types of site plans.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :

Minimum Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 4+ years of related experience.
• Perform and / or oversee civil / site design for a variety of projects including parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, sports courts, schools / colleges / universities, buildings, sidewalks and streets.
• Design various site plans, features and details using Civil 3D or other computer aided design software.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography or other topographical or geological data.
• Review existing conditions to identify engineering obstacles and assess potential project impacts.
• Design grades for new site plans and improvements.
• Support field activities for our construction inspection staff, including providing timely data, shop drawing review and client coordination.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of software including, but not limited to Word, Excel, etc.

Preferred Qualifications :

The annual base salary range for this full-time position in the United States is $92,000 - $151,800 . This range represents a good faith estimate and is based on factors such as the role, level, and geographic location. The range shown reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across all U.S. locations.

Within this range, individual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, education, and training.
