Accounting Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Hackensack, New Jersey. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy in handling financial transactions. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth accounts payable and receivable operations while maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities :
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
Manage data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records.
Utilize QuickBooks to record and organize financial data.
Handle invoice processing and ensure timely payments.
Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
Prepare reports and summaries related to financial activities.
Collaborate with team members to improve accounting workflows.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the accounting department.
Requirements :
Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management.
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Familiarity with invoice processing practices and procedures.
Ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies effectively.
