Production Assembler

Position : Production Assembler

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM–3 : 30 PM (occasional overtime)

Pay : $18–$20 per hour

We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in building high-quality products. In this role, you'll be assembling large water control gates by following technical instructions, drawings, and using power and hand tools. You'll also assist with various shop tasks and support your team to meet production deadlines.

What You'll Do :

Assemble parts into complete gate systems.

Apply sealants and gaskets according to detailed drawings.

Use tools like grinders, saws, and drills to fit and finish parts.

Read and follow blueprints, templates, and work instructions.

Prepare materials and touch up products to meet quality standards.

Keep your workspace clean and organized.

Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products (training available if needed).

Pitch in on special shop projects when needed.

What We're Looking For :

At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.

1+ year of experience in mechanical assembly or fabrication.

Comfortable reading and interpreting technical drawings and instructions.

Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools (like tape measures and calipers).

Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Familiar with hand and power tools.

Basic computer skills.

A team player who follows safety protocols and works efficiently.

Nice to Have : Forklift experience

Technical training or degree in a related field
