Overview
Oversee day-to-day dispatch center operations. Assists the Security Supervisor / Manager / Director with security initiatives, projects, and special assignments. May be required to work on call, flexible hours, alternate shifts, and weekends. Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly leads the daily activitiesof the Security Operations Dispatch Center.
Assistinestablishingsecuritydispatchpolicies and procedures.
Orient and train securitydispatchstaffandcomplete training documentation.
Maintaintraining records and ensure complianceofstaff.
Assistinmaintainingsecurityscheduleandensuretimelyreporting for duty ofdispatchers.
Maintaina list of all camera locations, alarms, and panic buttons throughout the system to ensure they are functioning properly per dispatchprotocols.
Act as a liaison fordispatchers betweenthe Security Supervisor / Manager.
Assistwith supervising the daily function of securityDispatcher.
Assure daily completion of security logs / reports by all staff and review logs / reports daily
Assistwith administrativeduties, as assigned, such as payroll,data collection, and timekeeping.
Assistwith performance reviews for applicable security partners.
Assistinestablishingand meeting performance improvement goals for the security department.
Ensurescomplete andaccuratecontact records aremaintainedfor all emergency services throughout theMercyhealthgeographic location. (. Law Enforcements, Fire Departments,
Checksdispatch areafor cleanliness and safety.
Maintainknowledge of, andmonitortheMercyhealthenvironment using electronic security equipment (CCTV, Alarms,
Coordinate and conduct applicant interviewsas needed for potential partners.
Work intimekeeping system whenrequired.
Periodicallyassistin scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and other materials for meetings. Makes necessary arrangements and notifies attendees. Compose, type, and distribute meeting minutes, routine correspondence and other related materials asrequested.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Healthcare security experiencepreferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Previousdispatcher experience preferred.
Securityor law enforcement experiencepreferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Passing the Driver’s License Check and / or Credit Check (for those positionsrequiring).
Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and / or IL Health Care Workers Background Check.
Officersrequiredto work in the dispatch center must be able totype25 wpm.
Must be able to follow written / oral instructions.
